Day 1: Delhi - Corbett ( 300 kms/9 hrs)
Leave late night from Delhi to reach Corbett National Park. After settling into hotel, catch the afternoon jeep safari.
Let your senses loose amidst natural splendour and enter the woods. Corbett Wildlife National Park: Set up in 1936 as India's first wildlife national park and possibly the finest, the Corbett National Park was established in consultation with the great hunter and conservationist, Jim Corbett. The wildlife park spreads over some 920.9 square km at an altitude of 600 to 1100 metres at the foothills of western Himalayas in the districts of Nainital and Pauri Garhwal. In its eventful 64-year life, it has grown considerably in size and now includes the Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary as a part of its 1,319 sq km of reserved forest area. After settling into hotel, catch the afternoon jeep safari inside the Tiger Reserve for wildlife viewing.
Day 2: Corbett
Visit Jim Corbett Park and also enjoy jeep safari or elephant safari (additional cost). Dinner & O/N stay.
Early morning, visit to Corbett National Park and enjoy viewing all the wildlife. The national park in Uttarakhand acts as a protected area for the critically endangered Bengal Tiger of India and for various other wild species of the region. About 488 species of plants and diverse variety of fauna find their harmonious habitat at the park. Riding a jeep across the park one can observe the sub-Himalayan belt's geographical and ecological characteristics here. Early morning after breakfast Proceed for Nainital on this day. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Later Proceed for full day tour of Nainital. Enjoy boat ride on the lake. Optionally you may also take the cable car ride to the hill top in Nainital. Excursion to Bhimtal, Enjoy a lake ride at Bhimtal.Return to hotel,comfortable night stay.
Day 4: Nanital - Mukteshwar ( 55 kms/2 hrs)
Morning drive to Mukteshwar and on arrival check in the hotel for night stay.
Today commence journey to the town of Mukteshwar. The famous tourist destination in Uttarakhand Mukteshwar is also a renowned sacred town. On arrival in the vicinity you can feast on stunning views of overhanging cliffs and lush valleys. The day at Mukteshwar will be free for leisure as you surrender to the comforts of the hotel booked for your stay in the vicinity.
Day 5: Mukteshwar
Morning sightseeing set on Mukteshwar. Visit Chauli-ki-Jali, Mukteshwar Dham and Mukteshwar Museum and Library.
This day will be devoted to sightseeing tour of the beauteous town of Mukteshwar. Begin the tour with visit to Chauli-Ki-Jaali which is a colossal rock cliff jutting out of hillside; the site is famed for offering spectacular panorama of the surrounding mountains and greenery. One can also indulge in adventure sports such as rock climbing and rappelling. Next bow to Lord Shiva at his 350-year old holy shrine namely Mukteshwar Dham. For a peep into the region's culture and heritage a visit to Mukteshwar Museum and Library is a must. Visit these and gather detailed information on the region. After an eventful day retire to the comfort of your hotel in the evening.
Day 6: Mukteshwar - Delhi ( 325kms/10hrs)
Drive to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to airport/railway station for onward destination.
